International Art Museum of America Coupons, Savings and Museum Description for 2020
Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, the International Art Museum of America (IAMA) is a non-profit art museum that opened in October 2011. The museum showcases an array of artwork, including works by Chinese masters, Yun sculptures, and classic 18th to 20th century European portraits and landscapes.
The IAMA embraces the excellence and individuality of the different worlds of the East and West. The permanent Asian art collection includes prominent works of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, an internationally renowned master whose works reveal a variety of distinct styles and mediums, as well as prominent works of Qi Baishi, Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, and others. Artwork by European masters on display include outstanding works by Maurice de Vlaminck, Evariste Carpentier, and Rosa Bonheur. While Asian and European art may seem worlds apart, the IAMA juxtaposes both worlds in a unique manner, highlighting the beauty and splendor of both Western and Eastern art.
